Torrontes is a signature white grape variety made with traditional and authentic Argentinian white grapes produced in Argentina. This wine boosts a fresh, moderately acidic, smooth texture with jasmine flowers and aromas of peach and apricot.

El Porvenir De Cafayate winery is proud of this variety white wine that places them at the top and is one of the few wineries in the country producing seven different versions of torrontes. They want to share their different profiles of the most famous grape variety and are ecstatic for producing wines with the only native grapes to Argentina.
All of the Torrontés wines come from Finca El Retiro, their oldest vineyard in Cafayate, implanted in 1945 and conducted in parral, (parral vines: a traditional high picking system)
The seven different versions of Torrontés are divided into four different lines.
LABORUM DE PARCELA
Laborum de Parcela. El Porvenir selects the most unique and distinctive blocks of grapes to create this radically different line of wines.
- Laborum de Parcela Torrontés Finca El Retiro. El Porvenir launched this wine in 2017. It is 100% Torrontés and its grapes come from Block 10. An aromatic, light, fresh and modern white.
PEQUEÑAS FERMENTACIONES
This line is composed of micro-vinifications that El Porvenir elaborates in search of different wines that express another story of their region.
- Pequeñas Fermentaciones Naranjo. We launched this wine in 2019 and although the wine has Moscatel Rosé, the large percentage of the blend is Torrontés. A wine of high aromatic intensity; complex, vibrant and a pleasant tension on the palate.
LABORUM SINGLE VINEYARD
Laborum is El Porvenir flagship line. It is the winery search for the genuine expression of Cafayate. Laborum Single Vineyard presents wines that express the full character of their origin.
- Laborum Torrontés Single Vineyard is the winery’s first Torrontés and the first harvest was in 2004. Its grapes are harvested at three different times in search of freshness and the best aromatic profile. A fresh, young, fruity, balanced wine with good acidity.
- Laborum Single Vineyard Torrontés Oak Fermented El Porvenir launched this wine in 2011. It is 70% barrel fermented and aged on lees for 8 months in French oak barrels. It has a fruity, fresh and perfumed expression. Intense and elegant.
- Laborum Single Vineyard Torrontés de Otoño is the sweet version of this line. El Porvenir launched this wine in 2006. This wine has a fruity character and a voluptuous and complex profile.
AMAUTA ABSOLUTO
El Porvenir Amauta Absoluto line arises from the uniqueness of the Cafayate terroir and seeks to reflect the legitimate characteristics of the region and to tell authentically where they come from.
- Amauta Absoluto Torrontés This wine has a fresh, tropical and perfumed character. It is elegant and has good acidity.
- Amauta Absoluto Torrontés Dulce Another sweet version of this variety. A wine with a tropical fruity character, perfumed and young. It has a balanced structure, smooth and velvety with a sweet and long finish.
